Company Background
Kwik has been around for quite a while now, starting its life back in the 80’s as Transhaul Transport Services. Kwik Cranes was bought into the company in the early 90’s. We have been based in Malaga since the late 80’s and have recently established a Depot south of the river in Bibra Lake, as well as a Depot in Darwin.
Kwik Cranes was a small operation when it was acquired. In the last few years it has grown strongly and now represents over half of our business. We have a modern fleet of Tadano and Franna cranes which we are in the process of building as we acquire larger All Terrain cranes. Kwik has the largest small crane fleet in Perth today.
From a fairly humble beginning, Kwik is now a major force in both crane hire and general transport in Perth and Western Australia. We have a large team in operations and administration which ensures that we can truly meet our motto of providing trucks and cranes On Demand. Including our crane drivers, truck drivers, dogmen and owner drivers we have over 70 people working in our organization.
From our Perth depots in Malaga and Bibra Lake, our truck and crane fleet works from Two Rocks in the north to Mandurah in the south every day of the week. We also undertake country work when our clients’ needs demand it. We have now committed to expanding beyond the metropolitan area, and as a result in February 2009 we opened our first interstate Depot in Darwin.
